Here is a nice CW period albumen measuring 8 X 9.5 inches.  The image has been soiled in the past and shows some warping and staining.  The image shows Andrew Wilkins of the 122nd New York Infantry.  He rose through the ranks to Captain by 1864.  The 122nd NY was part of the Army of the Potomac and was heavily engaged at Gettysburg, Wilderness, and Cold Harbor.  This image has period writing on the reverse side....Very nice image of a young officer of the Army of the Potomac....Price 475.00
Here is a nice from life CDV of a soldier Killed in Action at the Battle of Sailor's Creek.  He is id'd in modern pencil as William H. Perry of the 2nd Rhode Island Volunteers.  If you look at the database, this same soldier is showed on his file but in a different pose after his promotion in rank.  I had to scan the image outside and everytime I tried to crop it, the image changed colors.  This is the best representative scan of the original image.  Nice image with a solid ID..Price 225.00
